Application steps+
1Prepare the fabric
Place your textile (t-shirt, sweatshirt, cushion…) on a flat, rigid surface. If you use a heat press, preheat it. Make sure the fabric is clean, flat and dry.
2Position the design
Place your weeded Metallic Heat Transfer Vinyl design at the desired spot on the fabric. Protect the garment with a teflon sheet to avoid direct contact with the heat source.
3Press
Press your textile at 150°C for 15 seconds with medium pressure, using an iron or a heat press.
4Peel
Wait around 20 seconds after pressing, then gently peel off the transparent carrier while it is still warm.
5Fix the design
Place the teflon sheet back over the design and press a second time for 15 seconds.

Product description+

The Metallic Heat Transfer Vinyl is the vinyl that gives your creations a striking mirror effect. Its metallic finish catches the light and adds a premium touch to any fabric.

At just 80 microns thick, it is ultra-thin and blends perfectly into the fabric. Made from polyurethane (PU), it bonds durably into the fibres during heat application. The result: a metallic-sheen design that withstands 60+ machine washes without dulling, peeling or cracking.

Good quality flex! Seems durable. I'd recommend using a heat press to apply it, since the flex is quite stiff it's borderline with an iron I think! Heads up: I got this flex in Gold and Silver and I find the colours way too dark, the silver is slightly blue-ish and the gold is somewhere between bronze and gold. So personally I'll have a hard time using it, it's not the colour I was expecting. That's why I'm taking off one star.
